Position Overview: The E-Commerce Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our online customers through various communication channels, including email, chat, and phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via email, chat, and phone.
- Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns.
- Issue Resolution:
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to customers about products, pricing, and promotions.
- Order Management:
- Process customer orders and returns in our e-commerce system.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to customer accounts and order statuses.
- Customer Feedback:
- Collect and report customer feedback to help improve our products and services.
- Identify trends and common issues to help develop better customer service strategies.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Document customer service processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in using customer service software and e-commerce platforms.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Experience with live chat support.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce operations and logistics.
